Catholic Charities has a launched an initiative as part of their Our Lady of Hope Society to inspire high school students to live a life of service and charity while building a compassionate community that supports those in need and encourages a life of faith. Organized and led by a group of their peers, all high school students are invited to participate in service projects on the third Sunday of each month. Students do not need to be Catholic in order to serve. If a student is seeking service hours for their school’s documentation will be provided by Catholic Charities for all service projects attended. Youth Ministers are also encouraged to organize a parish group to participate in these service opportunities.
